Essiac tea/Flor Essence

So many opinions about essiac tea. some say it cures all, others say it's a scam. I am trying to find something I can do daily for general breast and health maintenance. What do you think of essiac tea? Also, I take buspar for anxiety and occasionally xanax. do you know of any drug interactions?

on 27 Oct, 2008 		There have been some studies on Essiac Tea and the results are not great.  Ms. Caisse that used it in Canada to cure breast cancer never published the combination of herbs that was used in the tincture but the recipe was passed on to other practitioners. Some believe that what is currently used is not her original recipe. The herbs used in the tea are very good for your health and the tea can be very expensive.  DIM may be the best bet for breast health since it helps the liver metabolize estrogens properly. Curcumin (turmeric) is a good spice to add to diet or take orally for breast cancer prevention.   Taking DIM may help your liver break down the buspar or Xanax more efficiently so there could be the possibility of it causing you to need to adjust your dosage, however I would check with your MD first.

I personally and from friends found amazing results.

What I appreciate about their product that it is alreay made up in bottles - i tried once to do it myself, very tedious - and comparing to others it is a decent price.
