VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy

Level 4 Sports Massage teaches advanced massage techniques to target specific sports requirements including prevention and management of injury.

Course Content

Relevant anatomy, physiology & pathology, Pre, post, corrective & preventative massage, Stretching, Neuromuscular & deep tissue techniques, ROM assessments, Soft tissue problems/injury, Contra indications & contra actions, Consultation & record keeping, Treatment programmes, Client care & after-care advice, Health, safety & employment standards, Case studies, Supported home study.

Entry Requirements (can be covered at the centre)

L3 Certificate in Swedish/Body Massage/Sports Massage

Training starts at 9.30am and finishes around 4.30pm.  Lunch is not provided but there are light refreshments available throughout the day.  We just require you to bring two large towels, everything else for your training days will be provided.  You may want to bring shorts with you.

We can supply your oils/equipment at very reasonable prices. Please ask for details.

£50 deposit secures your place.

The balance can be made by cash, cheque or credit/debit card anytime up to and including when you attend for training.  Payment terms can be arranged.

Other Training Dates can sometimes be arranged.

You will be required to attend on 8 training days at the centre.

28th & 29th January, 25th & 26th February, 2nd & 3rd April

3rd & 4th June, 24th & 25th June, 22nd & 23rd July

plus 2 days (for clinic sessions) to be arranged with you.

Training/Assessment cost £695.00 + VTCT Course Registration fee £68.00

VTCT Student Registration fee £16.00 (if required)

We deliver professional qualifications in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.  All our tutors are working therapists with a wealth of relevant experience and practical knowledge.

Training groups are small, no more than 4 students, to ensure maximum individual attention. Places can fill up quickly so if you are interested in attending let us know.  We can pencil you in which doesn't commit you to anything but will give you first refusal in the event we’re over subscribed.
