You really can age youthfully, whatever your age. Even if your health is not good right now, you can make yourself feel and look a lot better. There are many ways in which you can keep fit in mind and body, tone up, speed up, healthy-up and feel happy and fulfilled.
So go for it! Whether you're in your teens or your nineties, go for growing older youthfully and healthily. Don't focus on a long life. That will come anyway.
The dictionary defines ageing in two ways. One is growing old. The other is becoming older. Just a simple difference in words can make an enormous difference to how we feel about 'ageing'. We don't mind becoming older, but the thought of 'growing old' can be disturbing.
Of course ageing is a process of getting older, but it doesn't mean that we have to think old, unhealthy, illness, aches and pains, failing memory, or slowing down, which is what many people generally consider old age to be.
