Neck pain is one of the most common conditions seen in practice. It is an area that therapists commonly avoid treating due to its delicate nature and anatomical position. So much can be done to help people with this common problem.
This one day course will show you Osteopathic treatment approaches and ways of assessing your client who visits you with neck related symptoms and neck pain. It will teach you ways of articulating and performing soft tissue approaches to the neck that are understandable and easy to learn.
It is important that techniques are learned with the patient in several different positions as this makes you more flexible as a practitioner and widens the scope of who you can treat effectively. You will leave this day with new treatment approaches, understand how to manage and rehabilitate the neck more effectively.
