Course Overview This course is designed to enable candidates to be able to offer a very popular salon service, where you will learn how to apply a range of stunning nail art services to natural or artificial nails. It is a fun day course which often brings out the creative side in people.
Outline of Course Contents · Review of related anatomy of the nail and skin · Health safety and hygiene · Consultation and treatment planning · Preparation for nail art · Practical nail art techniques including painting, striping, marbling, rhinestones, glitter, transfers, free design etc. · Care and removal of the nail art
Entrance requirements Level 2 certificate in Manicure, or equivalent
Duration 1 day & separate ½ day assessment appointment if opting to take VTCT/NVQ qualification. It may also be possible to slot into our Level 2 Beauty regular attendance programme subject to availability of spaces. Please enquire for dates / costs
Certification Diploma in Nail Art Services Awarded by Helen McGuinness Health & Beauty Training International Plus option of: NVQ Unit BT13: Provide a nail art service Awarded by Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT)
