Hypnotherapy Shouting Cure for IBS!

As a Hypnotherapist I now see an increasing number of clients suffering from the debilitating symptoms of IBS, Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Their ages have ranged from 8 years old to 88 years old.

In the case of the wonderful lady of 88 years who came to see me for help, her life had become completely restricted by IBS. She was in fact afraid to leave her home, and going away had become an impossibility. She had suffered for many, many years with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, but apart from these terrible symptoms was fit and healthy. She had become depressed because she was missing out on the things that she wanted to do with her life.

We began our sessions, and as she was a bit deaf I had to learn how to shout ……. with a relaxing voice, this was a new experience for me!

During the first session she was very skeptical, in fact a member of her family had brought her along as a last resort, having tried everything else. She began the session by telling me how much she didn’t believe in hypnosis, which is always a good start. Later at the end of the session I was in some doubt about whether or not I would see her again for her next session which was in three weeks.

To my surprise she came to the next session with a big smile on her face! She asked me straight away ‘What did I do to her?’

I now have my oldest convert to the power of hypnotherapy. She was truly amazed, all her symptoms had subsided and she felt great. We continued with our sessions, and the shouting, and her symptoms continued to reduce.

She was a wonderful client and has started to travel and visit friends once again. I was very pleased to be able to help her.

This was a fantastic experience and showed me that no matter what the age of a client or how long they have been suffering from IBS it is still possible to improve the quality of their life and SHOUT!
