In May 2007 having had 2 brain tumours removed Trudy commenced a series of 16 RaphaYad Bioenergy Healing Sessions with its founder Michael Cohen at his London Clinic. In Feb 2005 Trudy a 39 year-old mother of 2 teenage children found herself having to have brain surgery after being diagnosed with an Acoustic Neuroma. A tumour attached to the acoustic nerve in the right occipital region of her brain.

10 day after surgery Trudy was hit with a permanent background headache during her entire waking hours. These registered 4 out of 10 on a pain level. In addition Trudy would experience hair pulling ‘Cluster' headaches registering 10 out of 10. All she wanted to do was to physically thrash out - kicking & crying and then the aftermath - the depression, lethargy and the vulnerability would kick in.

In July 2005 Trudy's consultants decided to remove a 2nd tumour from her brain as this 2nd tumour was thought to be the cause of the headaches. The surgery included the removal of part of the Pituitary Gland...but the headaches continued. The surgeons final solution was to live or high levels of medication which had side affects or remove the remaining part of the Pituitary Gland and put an implant into her brain...she decided enough was enough!
