I am writing in the hope this will help others.For the last 2 years or so I have suffered from the most AWFUL itchy bottom.At its worst,I was having to visit the bathroom 4 or five times a day at work to wipe.During this time,I visited two Doctors who prescribed numerous creams and /or tablets.I also had sessions with Doctors at the hospital where I had tests for alergies.I also had a camera inserted for examination.It is fair to say that at its worst life was very miserable.It was not just itching-about 30 minutes after I had been to the toilet,the burning started and there then followed a long period of itching.Walking was very difficult.
The last time I visited the Doctor I was told I had a "sore bum" and was given the same cream as I had been prescribed 2 years previous !!!!!!!!!!!! I decided to search the web.To cut a long story short,I found out I was suffering from Pruritus Ani.I also found a web site called "simplysoothing.co.uk".I purchased a packet of wipes for £4.99 from the site and used them daily.IN TWO WEEKS I FELT BETTER.I found the owner of the site,Ginney,to be VERY helpfull and friendly.I have been using the wipes now for about six months.I find using two wipes a day keeps the condition away.Should the irritation flare up again I use more untill it settles.
I AM WRTITING THIS MAIL IN THE HOPE IT HELPS OTHERS WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM THIS VERY EMBARASING PROBLEM.The simply soothing wipes worked for me and they are certainly worth trying.The company is VERY honest and VERY reliable.Thank you.
