VITAMIN C FOR COLDS??
Research has shown that it is increasing levels of Vitamin C that helps when a cold is coming on. If you take large doses all the time, your body just simply gets used to it. Adults only need about 250mg as a routine daily dose, then, if you feel a cold coming on, that is the time to up the dose to between 500mg and 1000mg for a few days only.

Keep winter skin moist by drinking lots of temperate water, exfoliating regularly, moisturizing while freshly bathed or out of a not too hot shower. Although hot water feels lovely in the winter, it will dry the skin especially for those with issues like dermatitis. Find a way to get some sunlight every day as well for your mood and your health!

There are so many healthful alternatives these days that reducing your toxic load is easy! Just try to substitue one food product per month. Instead of bacon this month, try organic turkey sausage patties - they're delicious! Next month, instead of a snickers bar, try some fair trade organic semi dark chocolate...your mood and your health will be so much happier in the short and long run!
