Claire Hegarty a leading expert in Anger Management is offering Free Anger Management Therapy advice for people who are worried their anger is going to get them the sack from Work and for Human Resources managers who feel they have a member of staff with an Anger problem.

Does this sound familiar?

‘If he keeps tapping on that table, I swear I will go over and bang him on the head with my ruler.’

‘Why am I always the one who is asked to go out in the cold and go to the post office to take the post? I swear If he asks me one more time I will tell him where to stick the job.’

‘All this work, I cannot cope, no one else is doing as much work as me. I am really fed up and angry, I feel totally stressed and will hit the next person who asks me to do something.’

‘Why can’t those customers follow simple instructions instead of phoning all the time saying their computer is not working, the next one who phones with the same problem as the last twenty this morning, I will scream at them down the phone.’

Have you felt like this, have you managed to control your anger and counted up to ten or went outside for a breath of fresh air without letting your anger boil over?

If you have then well done, but if you are one of those people who follows through with their anger, how does it make you feel, how do you feel when you are normally a really nice person and just for one breath moment you let your anger control you and you follow through by shouting and screaming, or throwing something or even worse, hitting someone and becoming violent, how do you feel afterwards?

A lot of people who have anger issues and lose control feel it is not really them, they feel they are watching someone else lose control when it is really them and afterwards feel disgusted and shocked and embarrassed that they lost control at work.

How would you feel if you were work at work and a member of your team did not have control of their anger?

How would you feel if that team member screamed down the phone at an important customer and threw a stapler or a phone across the room because the stress was getting to them and they could not control their anger?

How would you feel if that member of your team followed through on their anger and screamed and shouted at their boss and went further and assaulted their boss?

It does happen and that is why more and more companies are finding members of staff taking days off work which cost companies millions of pounds each year, some members of staff are even leaving their jobs because they cannot handle the atmosphere at work or they feel unsafe.

Anger in the workplace has become a serious issue with bosses looking at ways to help valued members of staff to control their anger and trying to keep hold of members of staff who have a fear of someone in their team who has problems with their anger.

Company Bosses are now turning to Anger Management Therapy professionals and asking them to come into the workplace and work with members of staff who have anger issues to help them get their life back in order.

Anger in the workplace is only now coming to light as a serious health issue when before if someone suffered from anger then they were either a bully or someone who was simply violent, not understanding that it is a health issue.

Human Resources and company owners now understand that it is cheaper to have a member of staff treated for Anger Management with Anger Management Therapy than having to sack that member of staff.

The cost of retraining someone costs companies a lot of money and that is why company bosses now work with their Human Resources department to have members of staff treated with Anger Management Therapy than outlay the cost of training a new member of staff as well as the cost of members of staff staying off work claiming they are sick because they are scared to come into work as well as staff leaving.
