The UKCP is a leading organisation in the field of psychotherapy, whose purpose is to protect the public by upholding professional standards and creating a unified voice for Psychotherapy in the UK.

‘Putting the pieces together’ reflects the diverse range of approaches to psychotherapy represented within the UKCP, and the work of our registrants who provide a wide choice of therapeutic treatment depending on preference and need. The UKCP is leading the drive towards the statutory regulation of psychotherapists and is working co-operatively with other organisations to safeguard the interests of patients and clients and the reputation of registered practitioners.
