ANATOMY, PHYSIOLOGY & CLASSICAL SWEDISH MASSAGE

This intensive course in Swedish Massage offers the student the opportunity to gain recognition following fast track training.

The Swedish Massage Course is suitable for students with little or no prior knowledge of Bodywork. It is hands-on, practical and theoretical.

A balance of academic knowledge, technical expertise, clinical skills and manual dexterity can provide you with a competitive advantage in this ever-changing field. You will acquire a solid foundation in massage through this well balanced and structured programme.

This intensive course in Swedish Massage offers the student the opportunity to gain recognition following fast track training.

The Swedish Massage Course is suitable for students with little or no prior knowledge of Bodywork. It is hands-on, practical and theoretical. The Swedish Massage module is taken in conjunction with the Anatomy and Physiology module.

The maximum number of participants is four, this allows for personal time to be spent each day with the student on a one to one level. During this session, the tutor is able to monitor the standard of massage techniques, correct faults before they become habitual, answer questions, and discuss any problems as they arise. The philosophy of Hands-on-Workshops is to be as fully available and approachable as possible throughout the course.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES: To be able to offer Swedish Massage as a professional therapy to the fee paying public.

This intensive training course is held over 3 days, plus home study and case studies.

This course is fully accredited and carries 40 CPD points

The cost includes refreshments, comprehensive course manual and practitioners' certificate.

A practical assessment, plus multiple choice questionnaire will complete the course on the final day. Participants will be awarded with the CMA accredited Practitioners Certificate in Anatomy, Physiology and Swedish Massage, and will be able to obtain full insurance cover with this Nationally recognised certificate.

CLOTHING: Please wear loose, casual clothing as you will be expected to both give and receive the massage

WHAT TO BRING: Your lunch and a large towel for your own use.

WHAT IS INCLUDED: Equipment used during the day, course manual, handouts as applicable, Practitioners Diploma, refreshments.

QUALIFICATION: Practitioners Certificate with 40 CPD points

FEES: Please  ask about flexible payments. You can attend more than one course pay in instalments to suit yourself. The criteria being that each course must be paid in full on or before the commencement of the course.

When a place has been confirmed, the booking fee is non-refundable.

Fees will only be refunded if the course is full, or in the unlikely event that the course / workshop is cancelled.
