Indian head massage can be practiced almost anywhere. It is a good introduction to massage so is an ideal first course for anybody thinking of a career as a therapist or who would like to supplement their income with Indian Head massage clients.

After completion of this course you will gain a L3 diploma in Indian Head Massage issued by VTCT and you will be able to gain insurance to practice as a therapist.

This course is designed for anyone who would like to take their first step into the world of holistic therapies and no previous experience is required.

Additional Work

To complete this course you will need to carry out three assignments and case studies.

Course Location

Hilldene Centre, West End, Southampton. The venue is just 5 minutes from junction 7 of the M27 and has plenty of parking. It is well served by buses from the centre of Southampton and a short bus or taxi ride from Southampton Airport Parkway railway station.  

Structure of Course

This Indian Head Massage course for Therapists is carried out over three full days. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. for registration with a start time of 10 a.m. The course finishes at around 4:30 p.m. There is a 45 minute lunch break. There are local shops although many students prefer to bring their own packed lunch. Complementary tea, coffee and herbal teas are available throughout the day.

Assessment

Assessment will consist of a theory examination and three practical assessments. On successful completion you will receive a L3 Indian Head Massage diploma issued by VTCT and be able to gain insurance to practice.
