Dietary Therapy Diploma

In recent years there have been vast clinical and academic developments in the field of Nutrition. The study of nutrition alone is very much in demand as there is greater focus on the changing western world diet and the potential impact on health.

The Paragon College offers a 1 year Diploma in Dietary Therapy which can then enable you to continue onto the Nutritional Therapy Practitioner Diploma.

Our one and two year diplomas provide you with everything you need to practice as a qualified Dietary Therapist or as a practitioner of Nutritional Therapy.

Dietary Therapists work in private practice advising clients on the therapeutic value of food to address system imbalances and help maintain health.

The Paragon Dietary Therapy Diploma is level 4.

Entry Requirements are 4 GCSE's and 1 science A level or equivalent.

For those without a science qualification or relevant APEL we offer a science foundation course.

YEAR ONE

Paragon Dietary Therapy Diploma

This one year course covers the basic components and factors of food, water and macronutrients and their control at molecular, cellular, tissue and whole body levels.

You will be able to develop the skills required to assess a clients dietary requirements, research information in practice and apply your knowledge to the practical setting of client, student interaction. Our clinical counselling module also enables you to explore methods for reflection and strategies for self development.

At the end of this course you will be able to set up a successful practice by understanding your professional and business environment and thereby becoming a competent practitioner.
