THE BOWEN TECHNIQUE is a light-touch form of 'hands-on' bodywork, which is gentle and effective.  The therapist uses thumbs and forefingers to make rolling-type moves, which stimulate the muscles and soft tissue within the body.  The client is left to rest for a few minutes between each set of moves allowing the body to make subtle and fine adjustments, promoting relief of pain and recovery of energy.  The treatment is subtle and relaxing and can be done through light clothing.  There is no manipulation and no force is used.  The body normally responds quickly to The Bowen Technique, making it a very time- and cost-effective treatment option.  A very wide range of complaints can be resolved with The Bowen Technique, including but not limited to:  frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, back and neck problems, sports injuries, respiratory complaints, lymphatic drainage, high blood pressure and headache.
