Natural painkillers have been in use since time immemorial and help to cure pain naturally without the use of dozens of medicines or ointments. Whenever there is a pain, either in tooth, stomach or in the head, there is always an impulse for a tablet or a pill. These tablets if used for a long time can have negative implications and side effects on the body. Natural ways are the best to cure acute pain as they don’t have side effects and are easier to access. Below mentioned are some of the natural painkillers:

 

  1. Turmeric: Originated in India, turmeric has excellent anti-bacterial properties and can be used to cure heals and wounds naturally. It kills pain naturally if consumed for a regular time. The best method to consume turmeric is to add it raw in warm milk, and then consume it.

  2. Ginger: In many countries, it is used in their daily eating regime. It is a super anti-bacterial food and is best when it comes to treating pain. It speeds up the recovery process as it has high anti-inflammatory properties. Its juice can be extracted and then consumed for the best benefit.

  3. Cloves: A superfood having anti-viral, anti-inflammatory properties, it is excellent when it comes to curing pain. Its oil is used to treat a toothache. Along with this, it is even given in the powdered form to treat stomach pain.

  4. Acupuncture: A Chinese way to cure pain, in this needle is pricked on the skin which helps to regulate the flow of the body’s energy. It is believed that serotonin, which makes a person happy, is released in the body, which treats pain.

  5. Heat and Ice: A traditional way to cure pain, in this heat and ice are used from time to time at the places of pain on the body to relax muscles. This therapy is best when muscles are strained or when there is stiffness in the body.

  6. Lavender oil: Oil made up of natural flower, it reduces the pain of migraine patients. It has anti-inflammatory properties and has antioxidant properties, which reduces pain. It is to be applied directly to the affected area.

  7. Marijuana: Banned in several countries across the world, it is considered one of the most powerful herbs to treat chronic diseases. Its intensity is so high that it comes under the category of drugs. Places like Uruguay, Canada, Alaska, California have legalized it in a prescribed limit. Limit has to be adhered to while purchasing Marijuana, for example, how many plants can you grow with a medical card in Canada, is a thing that needs to be kept in mind. Marijuana is used to treat pain for ages and it is believed that it treats even chronic and deep pain.

  8. Eucalyptus oil: An ancient remedy to cure pain, it is mostly used to treat joint pains. Even best for those who are recovering from knee replacement surgeries. 

Natural pain killers work the best when it comes to treating acute pain and that too without any side effects. Mother Nature cures all who come to it.
