Biography Jayme Albin, Ph. D is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Trained Kundalini Yoga Instructor. She is a published author and motivational speaker. She has a private practice and behavioral/wellness consulting firm on the upper east side of Manhattan. She specializes in Cognitive Behavior Therapist (CBT), Yoga/Biofeedback Therapy, and Executive Coaching.

Since 2003, Dr. Albin has provided more than 16,000 hours of therapy and consulting services to children, adolescents and adults as individuals, couples or groups. Dr. Albin specializes in the treatment of a variety of emotional, behavioral, physical and cognitive disorders including working with couples, trauma, depression and anxiety (phobias, OCD, GAD), somatic and health and weight problems.

Dr. Albin received her Ph. D in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Health Psychology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University, her Masters in Development Psychology from Columbia University and her BBA in Banking and Finance, Cum Laude with High Honors from Hofstra University.

Dr. Albin completed her clinical training at the three major teaching hospitals in New York City: Columbia Presbyterian, Cornell Medical Center and Mt Sinai School of Medicine. Her extensive clinical and research training includes working at the child and adolescent Depression & Anxiety Clinic at Columbia, the Anxiety & Traumatic Stress Program at Cornell and at the Compulsive and Impulsive Disorder program at Mount Sinai.

In 2008 Dr. Albin published a book on the treatment of fear of flying using biofeedback and virtual reality therapy. She also appeared on the Montel Williams Show as an expert in the area of anxiety and phobias, where she helped a young phobic begin to approach life and conquer her fears (http://www.youtube.com/user/DrJaymeAlbin). In 2008 Dr. Albin started an online forum and newsletter, Ask the Cognitive Behavior Therapist, offering insight and tips to readers; within a year her audience surpassed 3,000 readers. In 2009, Dr. Albin beganwww.SculptNYC.com, a multidisciplinary consulting firm that focuses on holistic health and wellness therapies including nutrition therapy, yoga therapy and cognitive therapy and behavior therapies.
