There are many different ways to detoxify your body. To start it is good to have a goal - to either improve energy, reduce knee pain, reduce heavy metal load, etc. Then pick a week or two when you know that you won't have alot of stress to deal with. You may want to see an alternative health care practitioner to see if you have an issue with heavy metals, organic solvents or candida to help focus a detox plan. A simple approach would be eat a diet of organic fruits, vegetables, nuts, and simple grains for one week and add in green tea and ginger to help your body detoxify. i would recommend a gentle approach to start. You can try to get to a sauna help the detoxification. Some practitioners advocate colonics to help your colon and liver detoxify, but you should first see a health care professional to help you know what would be best for you. |

At our center we would take a holistic approach that would include acupuncture for you knees, nutrition coaching, far infrared sauna and a 3 week medically supervise detox program. |
