The trouble with getting old is that you start to feel as if your body is breaking down. Aches and pain can be a normal every day event in your golden years. However, some people seem to live relatively pain free as they get up there in years. The following are five preventative measures you can take to be one of these pain free individuals.

Walk Every Day

Walking is one of the best exercises you can do as you age. Not only is walking low impact, but it can do wonders for helping you get synovial fluid into your joints. This will keep your knees and elbows from being in constant pain as you age.

Take Care of Your Teeth

Nothing can hurt like a tooth ache or a painful gum line. By engaging in preventative dental care, you can do a lot to improve the longevity and health of your teeth to keep your mouth pain free. One thing you should do is take vitamin D3 and K2 on a regular basis, because they both help to regulate your use of calcium. Also, k2 can effectively kill off periodontal disease and reverse cavities.

Lose Weight

If you really want to take the aches and pain out of your knees and feet, then losing weight is a must. The more weight you carry around, the more pressure and stress you place on your lower joints.
