If you have made a decision to eat healthier and have a workout program in order to lose weight, there are three vital steps one must take to be successful. If you avoid taking these three most important steps, then you are ready for serious trouble just a few days in the future.  Most people begin with good plans to start a fitness approach but life happens and their good intended plan for health and fitness just gets sidetracked once more. If you really want this to be the start of a life-changing journey to health and fitness, then the following three steps are vital in your fitness programme.   The three most important steps that lead to a good start to a good fitness program, so you can remain motivated as well as focused on your goals. They are the first to decide, then to commit and lastly have good support.  

1. Decide   Most individuals think just saying "I'm going to start working out soon" is enough to begin a successful workout approach, but it is not. If it were that simple we would not have the obesity issues that we have every day. One has to first establish their "Why" for starting their workout plan. "Why" have you made the decision to start working out? You have to come up with good reasons so that when things happen and you feel you do not have a time or you do not feel like working out, there is something to fall back that will keep you going.   

2. Commit   Now that you have chosen your motivation as well as reasons to get healthy, you must then "Commit" to the fitness program. The underlined word here being “program". To lose some weight and have a healthy lifestyle one has to be consistent. If you are flying by the seat of those pants and do not have a good plan of attack, you will never maintain your best results. Have a knowledgeable expert design a program that meets your needs or invests in a professional DVD workout approach. There are so many choices of DVD workouts that are available today and you can as well do the weight loss or fitness program consistently. Just ensure you find a DVD fitness program you love and that you can easily grow with.  

3. Support   The most important step of your three steps is to make sure you have good support, family, friends as well as a team of people to work with if possible. Whatever you will be doing you want the support to give motivation, comradery, and accountability. All of these factors are important when one gets discouraged and feels like to quit their workout program. It is a fact proven that many individuals with a good foundation of support have more success when it comes to their health and fitness programs. This is the main reason why Weight Watchers is a very popular choice. So get yourself a group of people or person with like-minded goals and promise to support each other in order to meet each other’s goals.   There you have it, the three main steps to take when beginning a fitness program. By keenly following these three steps, you will provide yourself a good chance at completing the program as well as seeing a huge success. When everything starts to look unwelcoming and you feel like to quit, remind yourself your steps to keep you going.
