Making an appointment for check up with an obstetrician or gynaecologist can be intimidating for women and quite often many avoid visiting them altogether. However, the truth is, it is very important for a woman to visit an OB/GYN regularly.

When a woman has sex partner and she is still not ready to conceive then she must visit a physician to get advice for birth control as well as family planning and an OB/GYN can always share a number of options for her.

If you are a woman then you need to keep a watch on your vaginal discharge, as this is an indication of something going wrong if there is an odour in the discharge.

9. Blood in urine
If during urine test, a woman notices blood having pinkish or brownish colour then she must visit anOB/GYN for detailed check-up. There may not be any immediate concern however if it persists then treatment will be needed after proper diagnosis.
10. Painful sex/cramps
If a woman finds excessive pain during sex then do not continue with the act by taking a pain killer, as it can affect your liver. You must consult an OB/GYN.
