If you are a fan of essential oils, you should definitely consider using them in your cooking! You probably already use them in your daily life somehow, whether it’s rubbing them onto your feet before bed or diffusing them throughout your house. 


If you do not use essential oils but are looking into them this is a great place to start if you do not want to rub essential oils all over your body. You are still able to get the overall benefits of using oils without smelling like them or having to rub your body with them everyday.

This may sound a little weird at first but you can start using essential oils by taking them in capsule forms. You can buy empty capsules and add whatever essential oils you want into the capsule. Then all you have to do is take the capsule and go about your day. This is a great way to start if you know about the benefits of taking essential oils but do not want to buy a diffuser or carrier oil. 


Use Them in Cooking

Essential oils are so much fun to use in cooking if you know how to use them correctly. If you use too much your dish can be overpowering. Using essential oils in cooking is similar to using spices, less is more. You probably only need one or maybe two drops depending on the size of the meal that you are making. 


Some great essential oils that you can use in cooking are basil if you want to add a burst of flavor to your meal. You can use rosemary, bergamot and thyme in different meals if you do not have the spices on hand. Lime and orange oils are a great addition to meals as well if you are looking to shake up the flavor of your meal. 


Try Aromatherapy

Yes, you can think about aromatherapy because it will help you with your eating habits. Aromatherapy has been used in a lot of different cultures throughout history for different reasons such as healing or promoting relaxation. You can use this technique by getting a diffuser or rubbing an oil onto your wrist to smell that scent while you are eating.
