What is Arthritis?

Arthritis is a huge umbrella term that includes many medical conditions that all share a commonality; all the conditions are concerned with the degeneration in the musculoskeletal system and specifically the joints. A joint is where two bones come together.
The most common type of Arthritis is Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis. In most cases arthritis is associated with older people because as the body ages so does the joints and their mobility and efficiency decrease. With that said children and young people do get types of Arthritis.
